The Cairns Tablelands will captivate you. Only an hour and a half from Cairns via the Kennedy Highway through the scenic Kuranda range, past the roadside stalls filled with tropical fruits.

Lake Tinaroo is renowned for its watersports, houseboats and fishing (including barramundi and red claw crayfish). A visitor recently caught a large “Barra” from the bank at Tinarooonthewater.
